Juliet V. Amoako is a Vancouver, Canada-based hospitality-training specialist with over 25 years of international hospitality experience, notably within the Cruise Ship Industry. Juliet's background in the Cruise Ship Industry further deepens her expertise in international-standard service, operational discipline, and guest-experience excellence. Juliet's experience spans across Northern America, the Caribbean and Europe. During this time, Juliet has taught and mentored emerging professionals both within the hospitality industry and within the private post-secondary education sector. In the 2026 Cruise Ship Season, Juliet took an observational role of the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority (VFPA) operation and provided improvement ideas for hospitality staff. As a result, Juliet brings a unique global perspective to service excellence, professional behaviour, and workforce development. As the Founder of AfriCan Hospitality Development (ACHD), Juliet combines practical industry leadership with advanced instructional skill. This approach helps to deliver modern, high-impact training which could strengthen Ghana’s hospitality workforce. Her expertise integrates global hospitality practices with cultural intelligence, empowering staff to perform with confidence and professionalism. 
Born and raised in London, UK, Juliet brings a strong multicultural foundation to her work. She is also certified to teach English as a Foreign Language and has taught international university students from Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan at colleges in Vancouver, Canada. This experience strengthens her instructional clarity, cross-cultural communication skills, and ability to deliver training that resonates with diverse learners.

Professional Background, Roles & Expertise: • Cruise Ship hospitality experience with mainstream brands, such as Norwegian Cruise Line and Carnival Cruise Line• Management and guest-service experience within respected global hospitality brands, including Marriott Hotels and the Vancouver Olympic Committee 2010 (supervised hundreds of volunteers at the University of British Columbia) • Guest-experience design and service-standards training • Multicultural team development and frontline service coaching • Former Department Head & Instructor within Vancouver’s private career-college sector• Tourism and Hospitality-education experience including delivering instruction for Tourism and Hospitality Management Diplomas and proctoring examinations • Curriculum development and adaptation for diverse learner groups• In-person and Online instructional delivery, with virtual-classroom management.• ACHD is also a proud member of the Tourism Industry Association of British Columbia (TIABC).
